Cambodia’s islands:
Song Saa Private Island sits in Cambodia’s Koh Rong Archipelago, which is made up of mostly uninhabited islands – oases of virgin rainforests, coral reefs and pure white beaches. Song Saa is Cambodia’s first private island resort, and aims to set a high standard of luxury, environmental sustainability and community wellbeing though its conservation and sustainable livelihoods programs. While the island feels secluded, it is only 35 to 40 minutes away from Sihanoukville on the resort’s luxurious speedboat. Song Saa Private Island provides luxury transfers in our fleet of BMW 5 Series from the Cambodian capital Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville. Journey time is approximately 3.5 hours.

The resort:
The resort spans two discreet islands called Koh Ouen and Koh Bong, which are referred to collectively as ‘Song Saa’ – Khmer for The Sweethearts. The islands are connected by a footbridge over a private marine reserve established to safeguard the islands’ reefs and marine life, including dugongs, turtles, seahorses and tropical fish. The resort features 27 one and two bedroom jungle, ocean-view and over-water villas, which are designed around the theme of a Cambodian fishing village, but with all the luxuries and modern conveniences you would expect of a world-class resort. The use of natural finishes throughout helps the resort blend seamlessly into its surrounds and wherever possible recycled and sustainable materials have been used.

All villas on Song Saa Private Island feature:
v King-size beds, dressed with the highest quality linen
v Exquisite bathrooms, complete with twin bathtubs and indoor shower
v Outdoor showers to make the most of the tropical climate
